I DREAM OF JEANNIE is based on the romantic & fantasy filled adventures of Jeannie and Captain Vicky who is a commercial pilot with Fly High Airlines. The action begins when Vicky abandons his plane and makes an emergency landing on a deserted island where he finds a 2000 yrs old Jeannie trapped in a bottle. Jeannie falls in love with Vicky at the very first sight, tricks him and follows him back into his world. The well intentioned Jeannie only tries to make life better for Vicky while actually putting him into trouble at all situations. Its' only a matter of time before this very naughty yet lovable Jeannie will become the centre of Vicky's universe and the chase will turn into a sweet tale of romance, magic and fantasy.

Hey, Jeannie! is an American situation comedy starring Jeannie Carson as a young Scottish woman living in New York City. Twenty-six episodes aired on CBS from September 8, 1956 to May 4, 1957 in the Saturday slot following The Gale Storm Show and preceding the western series Gunsmoke. Six additional episodes aired in 1958 in syndication. Reruns of Hey, Jeannie! aired during the summer of 1960 under the title The Jeannie Carson Show.

Col. Nelson is on a long-term, top-secret space mission. Jeannie cannot bring him home (temporarily) to hear their son's important academic presentation without knowing exactly where he is in the first place. The general in charge of the mission won't reveal anything. Things are further complicated when Jeannie's sister (Jeannie II) reminds Sham-Ir, the head of the genies, that a genie on Earth cannot go more than 3 months without an earthly master. (Col. Nelson is no longer Earthly, being in space.) Sham-Ir give Jeannie I a fortnight (14 days) to either find Col. Nelson or get a new master, a single male. (Col. Healy can't help, since he's now married.)
